Huey D. Johnson

Prior to his appointment as Secretary, Mr. Johnson founded and served as President of the Trust for Public Land, and is the former Western Regional Director of the Nature Conservancy. His pioneering policies and land acquisitions have made these organizations two of the largest and most effective in the country.
